Located on a hillside in the Alentejo countryside, Casa Limoeiro was designed as a place to stay. Pure whitewashed volumes are interspersed with deep windows in cork and Corten steel, creating dense, silent shadows. Inside, the natural stone flooring, raw linen upholstery, and custom-designed wooden furniture evoke memories of Portuguese folk architecture. The project respects the landscape without camouflaging itself, striking a balance between local identity and contemporary expression.
